Change x Unzipped was a project born out of the first AMSA Global Health Council in Sydney. Victorian medical students from Monash, Deakin and Melbourne Universities sat down together during a breakout session. They realised the huge potential for collaboration and began generating ideas that would later amalgamate into the Victorian Global Health Collaboration - Change x Unzipped.

Day 1 of Change X Unzipped focussed on sustainable change, whilst Day 2 tackled important issues and inspired delegates to take action.

Our inaugural event had a remarkable guest speaker line-up, including former senator Nova Peris, Médecins Sans Frontières Australia president Stuart Condon, as well as engaging interdisciplinary panel discussions.

We were privileged to have had over 150 delegates attend the event who left inspired to take action on important global issues. We are immensely proud of Change x Unzipped and look forward to continuing to foster a culture of collaboration between Victorian universities, in order to empower the next generation of leaders
